Monthly Forecast For April

April starts out with some lovely aspects, beginning 4/2, with the Moon in Scorpio making a Trine to Neptune in Pisces. This is a trine in the Water Element, promoting faith, trust, and a connection to one’s Higher Self. It is also forming two sextiles, to Mars and Saturn, giving both momentum and patience. This is underscored by Mars conjunct to Saturn that day. The Moon conjunct to Jupiter on 4/3 brings abundance and increased optimism.

Thursday, 4/5, is a mixed bag, with the Sun in Aries trine to the Moon in Sagittarius, Fire sign to Fire sign. This brings enthusiasm and zeal, and a desire for new beginnings. Mercury square to Saturn can bring up some subconscious fears about expressing yourself. Don’t let it. 4/12 is wonderful. The Moon makes four lovely aspects, while Venus, the planet of love and creativity, sextiles both Neptune and the Moon. This is a very high vibrational aspect.

The New Moon in Aries on 4/15 May bring some shake-ups in the world, as the Moon in Aries squares both Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. This is a karmic aspect. People who think they are above the law may find out differently this month. Mercury goes direct, also. Finally. This leads into the 16th and 17th. Wow. Powerful. A number of aspects involve Pluto. Pluto is the planet of alchemy. These are good days to set your magical intentions for what you want to create. The Moon in Taurus lends fixity of purpose, so that what is manifested is permanent.

We have a Grand Trine in Earth signs on 4/25. The Moon in Virgo trines the Sun in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn. Nurture yourself, and add compassion and patience. Anything is possible. 4/26 is also fabulous.

The Full Moon on the 29th is powerful, with the Sun in Taurus opposing the Moon in Scorpio. The Sun trines Saturn and the Moon sextiles it, adding stability and wisdom to a willingness to let something go. 4/30 is wonderful, with a number of very powerful and spiritual aspects.

April starts out with the Sun in fiery Aries, the ram, which is about inspiration and passion, and the dawn of a new day. It then closes with the Sun in Taurus, the bull. An Earth sign. That’s why I chose this photo, taken by a friend while she was in Myanmar. It represents nurturing the fire of the spirit residing within us, combined with the tenacity to stay our chosen course.

April looks to be an eventful month, full of opportunities for growth and change. Learn to embrace every opportunity to evolve, to move forward. May this month bring the fulfillment of all of your hopes and dreams. Blessings, Judith

Spectacular New Arrivals

l am still listing the amazing new arrivals from a few weeks ago. I’m blown away by the raspberry Amethyst, Amethyst with raspberry Druze growing on top of the Amethyst, which looks like it’s covered in crushed pomegranates and berries. It’s stunning. The big Heart is over 20 lbs. The big clear Quartz Clusters are fabulous, with crazy rainbows.

The Fluorite Sphere is as intense of a green as it gets, completely translucent. Wow. The Tibetan Quartz Point is over 8” long, also with beautiful rainbows.

The Rhodonite Sphere is the best quality Rhodonite I have seen, glossy and beautiful. In Chinese medicine, Rhodonite connects the Kidneys and the Heart, a Master Healer.

There are so many more phenomenal stones to list, but these are up. Finally. Yay!

The Joke

Music has been like oxygen for my soul over my entire life. It moves me, it nurtures me, it inspires me, it heals me. Yesterday I heard a song that did all of those things for me. It’s by an artist I love, Brandi Carlile. It’s called “ The Joke”. After I finished sobbing, I found an interview with her, where she talked about the lyrics, and why she felt compelled to write this song. She spoke of the things happening in the country right now, the bullying, the discrimination, the shattered dreams of little girls after the election, the bias against immigrants, refusing them sanctuary. It was a powerful interview. The lyrics came from her heart. They certainly touched mine. Here they are.

“ You’re feeling nervous, aren’t you, boy?                                                                                                                 With your quiet voice and impeccable style.

Don’t ever let them steal your joy.                                                                                                                                And your gentle ways, to keep ‘em from running wild.

They can kick dirt in your face                                                                                                                                   Dress you down, and tell you that your place is in the middle, when they hate the way you shine.                           I see you tugging on your shirt, trying to hide inside of it and hide how much it hurts.

Let ‘em laugh while they can, let ‘em spin, let ‘em scatter in the wind.                                                                      I have been to the movies, I’ve seen how it ends.                                                                                                       And the joke’s on them.

You get discouraged, don’t you, girl?                                                                                                                         It’s your brother’s world for a little longer.

We gotta dance with the devil on a river, to beat the stream.                                                                                     Call it living the dream, call it kicking the ladder.

They come to kick dirt in your face,                                                                                                                           To call you weak and then displace you

After carrying your baby on your back across the desert.                                                                                            I saw your eyes behind your hair, and you’re looking tired, but you don’t look scared.

Let ‘em laugh while they can, let ‘em spin, let ‘em scatter in the wind                                                                     I have been to the movies, I’ve seen how it ends.                                                                                                       And the joke’s on them.

Let ‘em laugh while they can, let ‘em spin, let ‘em scatter in the wind.                                                                        I have been to the movies, I’ve seen how it ends.                                                                                                       And the joke’s on them. “

Actually, the joke is on them. In spite of their greed, their hunger for power, the cover-ups, lies, abuse, discrimination, religious fanaticism, misogyny, more than ever before we are coming together, standing up for each other, the planet, marching, forming movements. We see children mobilizing, protesting gun laws that are causing this country to have the highest death rate from guns in the world. Women are refusing to accept abuse and harassment as a fact of life, coming forward, no longer silent, fierce and fearless. We are demanding equal pay, equal rights, and equal opportunities.

The joke is on them, because their treachery is being uncovered. Trump has become a laughingstock around the world, his name a punchline and a synonym for idiocy. No one outruns the Karma police. Those that live from cruelty and sadism always come to a bad end. Look at history.

To those of us who choose to live from love, in spite of experiencing sexual abuse, domestic violence, bullying, racism, misogyny, or discrimination, own your strength, your honor, your courage, and compassion. You are amazing. You are a miracle.

The joke’s on the dark ones, because they have only made us stronger, and more determined to prevail. Even those they have been able to kill, live on, their teachings inspiring generations, while the offenders fade into nothingness, a footnote in history.

We stand together, one heart, rising up, invincible. They can’t stop us. Nothing stops love. Nothing stops compassion and mercy. The light always triumphs over darkness. May this song uplift your spirit as it has mine. I send love to all souls who have survived these trials, and to those experiencing these things now, we are with you. Thank you to Brandi Carlile, Philip John Hanseroth, Timothy J. Hanseroth, and David W. Jr Cobb for this incredible  anthem.

The official video of this song is on YouTube. It’s worth watching. Blessings, Judith
