We went to our first Gem and Mineral Show of the season, and it was fabulous. We connected with dealers who are old friends, and met one new dealer from Brazil. He said that this show was his first on the East coast. I was blown away by what he had. I bought quite a few things from him, plus what my go-to dealers had. He had some spectacular Natural Citrines, ( I know, I know, like I needed more of those) but these are crazy. They look like water-clear dark Smokey Quartz Points… Until you shine a light on them. Then, holy mother of God, they are entirely golden Citrine inside. Rainbows, Message Plates, absolutely museum quality specimens. I may have drooled on them. I pounced on them like a rabid wolverine. I bought the three largest. Two are sold. The one in the photo is available.

He also had large clear Quartz Spheres, very clear, these are becoming increasingly difficult to get. I bought four. The largest is 5.5″. Beautiful. A dealer I buy my Smokey Elestials from brought two big beauties to the show. I grabbed them both. The larger one is 25 lbs, is also a Cathedral, with a huge chunk of blue and black Tourmaline. Wow. I also bought carved animals from him, an Amethyst Bear, 2 Turtles carved from Rainbow Obsidian, a Frog carved from black Calcite and ChalcoPyrite. Gorgeous. I bought several large clusters of Pyrite from Peru. Some jewelry… 2 Pendants of Rhodonite shaped into a long leaf, another of Ocean Jasper, and a Charoite Pendant with Peridot. All set in Sterling Silver. Some Sunstone Hearts… Palm sized Smokey Elestials, some Agate Hearts with Druzy centers and Chalcedony on the back… Wow.

I will start listing all of this over the next few days. After 5 hours on the road, and the show itself, plus my work schedule, I’m toasted. But very, very, excited. I love finding amazing beings, who seem to have been waiting for me. Our SUV was packed to the max. I took some photos with my iPad which only hints at how beautiful these pieces are, and does no justice to the Quartz Spheres at all, because they are very clear, but I wanted to give everyone an idea. The April 7th New Moon: Being Woven From The Light of Heaven

imageA New Moon is a monthly event where the Sun and Moon are Conjunct. The April New Moon in Aries is very exciting, ushering in change, growth, and unexpected developments, in ourselves and with the Race Mind. Let’s look at it.

The Sun and the Moon will be Conjunct at 18 degrees of Aries, the first of the three Fire signs of the Zodiac. Aries is what’s called a Cardinal sign, along with Libra, ( Cardinal Air), Cancer, ( Cardinal Water), and Capricorn, ( Cardinal Earth). The Cardinal signs are the leaders, the self-starters. The pathfinders. The Fire Element is about zeal, enthusiasm, and passion for life. Having the Sun and Moon joined together in fiery Aries would be powerful enough, but then, we need to factor in some other major planets. First, Uranus. This New Moon will be Conjunct to Uranus, the Great Awakener. Uranus rules freedom, liberation, and sudden unexpected change. Discovered at the same time that lightning was discovered to be electricity, Uranus represents change that comes like a bolt out of the blue. We can tap into this energy by being willing to step into freedom from old limiting paradigms that no longer serve us. Uranus vibrates to the stars, a cosmic energy that courses through each of us.

Saturn factors into this New Moon, playing a very supportive and powerful role, also. Saturn is at 16 degrees of Sagittarius, another Fire sign, trine to the New Moon, lending wisdom, patience, and discipline to the immense thrust of Uranus/Sun/Moon conjoined. It grants a stabilizing influence, and reduces the fear of change that an aspect of this magnitude can bring. Mars will be at 8 degrees of  Sagittarius, adding even MORE fire, Conjunct to stabilizing Saturn, and also Trine to the New Moon. Holy smokes. Mars is about movement, movement, movement. Wherever we feel stuck, this combination of 5 planets is determined to un-stick us. Mars rules fire, demolition, explosives, construction, and speed. Here, we have the potential to move forward quickly into the life we want to create.

Then we have Pluto. Where Uranus is the Great Awakener, Pluto is the Master Alchemist. Pluto is at 17 degrees of Capricorn, making a Square aspect to the New Moon/Uranus conjunction. Pluto rules the subconscious mind, what Jung called the Shadow. It also rules the Void, ( the Tao, Great Mystery, The vast unknown.)  This aspect can bring our deepest wounds and gifts to the surface, so that we can be freed. It can assist us in clearing old trauma that has been buried.  It can also reveal hidden or secret things, having to do with corruption on a governmental level. Watch what gets revealed this month, all around the world. The grip of corporate control and manipulation gets weakened. This is an aspect of the consequences of breaking the law: Karma in action.

I love the Sufi poet Rumi. I chose his quote ” We are woven from the light of heaven” for this teaching, because more than any New Moon I’ve seen in a long time, this one represents that for me. There is so much passion, fire, starlight and LIFE to it. It encourages all of us to seize the light of heaven all around us, and to realize we ARE the light of heaven. There is nothing to stop an individual that is aware of this truth. This New Moon is a time of new beginnings, yes. It also presages a time of incredible growth for humanity. A quantum leap forward for the Race Mind. We have been waiting for this. Ride this aspect like the magical Dragon that it is. Become the Dragon.  Breathe the fire of Divine Love onto whatever fears are holding you back. Let them be incinerated, and returned to the nothingness from whence they came. Embrace the fire within, the light of heaven, and go free. Blessings, Judith
